Sap flow sensors are a revolutionary new way to measure how much water your vine is using.

Sap flow sensors are a revolutionary new way to measure how much water your vine is using.

Install Sensors

We evaluate your vineyards and set up sap flow sensors in the best locations.

The sensors are non-destructive and do not affect health of the vine.

Monitor Inside the Vine

The real-time sensors send a wireless reading of the vine’s transpiration rate. This is a precise measurement of how much water is moving through the vine, and gives an indication of the vine’s water needs.

A slow rate of transpiration indicates a vine is low on water (stressed) and potentially at risk of berry dehydration.

Many factors influence vine water loss, but the most important are light, water available in the ground, and grape varietal.

We measure key environmental parameters including climate, irrigation and soil moisture sensors.

Monitor Outside the Vine

We tap into existing weather stations to capture climate data and work with your vineyard team to gather other data such as irrigation sensors, pressure bomb readings, and brix test results.

Report & Analyze

Our online reporting tool aggregates and analyzes all your vineyard’s data and make it available online.

You are notified immediately (via email or text) of any severe vine stress or weather forecasts so you can take actions to optimize irrigation and avoid costly yield loss.
